About the Role:

New Era Technology Malaysia is hiring a Software Engineer to be deployed at our esteemed client location in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. We are looking for a dynamic professional with strong expertise in Java, Spring, AWS, and Microservices Architecture, who is passionate about cloud-based solution development and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java/J2EE applications using Spring Framework.

• Build and deploy microservices-based architecture for enterprise-grade applications.

• Drive and support cloud migration initiatives, specifically transitioning from on-premise to cloud environments.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment in AWS.

• Ensure clean, testable, and efficient code, while adhering to coding standards and best practices.

• Collaborate in CI/CD pipeline development and contribute to deployment automation.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed services and applications.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Java, J2EE, Spring.

• Strong working knowledge of AWS services and deployment practices.

• Proven expertise in microservices development and cloud deployment.

• Experience in migration projects from on-premise to cloud environments.

• Exposure to Kubernetes and PostgreSQL is an added advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Start Date: Immediate or as per notice

• Work Mode: Onsite at Client Location, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur
