Deliver seamless sales and office operations through strategic support and efficient coordination.
What is the role
Part-time, three days a week, onsite at our Newcastle office. This is a contract role - 12 months parental leave cover.
As a Sales Support Specialist, you will provide sales support to the sales team including procurement, processing renewals and quote preparation. This role is also responsible for providing a broad range of administrative support services across finance, sales support, and general office functions.
The following include but may not be limited to the responsibilities of the Sales Support Specialist:
- Provide administrative and sales support to the sales team
- Manage product quoting, ordering, receipting, and delivery
- Coordinate small contract and license renewals
- Maintain ConnectWise for tracking agreements, licenses, and sales activity
- Monitor and manage internal stock levels and stock movements
- Assist with warranty claims and supplier communications
- Support proposal, presentation, and tender preparation
- Organize sales events, campaigns, and mail outs
- Liaise with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and backorders
- Maintain positive supplier relationships and escalate pricing/timing issues as needed
- Conduct stock takes and stays updated on the latest technologies
- Greet visitors and manage calls, office access, and supplies
- Coordinate freight, stock, and vehicle logistics
- Support HR tasks, travel bookings, and event planning
- Oversee property maintenance and admin processes
- Perform general office administration as needed
Who we are looking for
Candidates must possess a strong grasp of sales workflows and technical capabilities, as well as:
- At least 2 years of sales administration experience
- Experience working in an MSP environment
- Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure
- Vendor Sales Certificates are a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to liaise with individuals at all levels of an organization and maintain strong relationships
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
