What is the role
This is a full-time, onsite role based at our Adelaide office, with standard working hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
As an Inside Sales Executive, you will manage and cultivate relationships with a portfolio of minor accounts. The role will also have an administrative element preparing quotations, facilitating renewals for licensing and agreements are required.
The following include but may not be limited to the responsibilities of the Inside Sales Executive:
- Act as a primary point of contact for “Minor Accounts”, addressing inquiries and providing assistance via phone, email, or in-person communication
- Preparing quotations, facilitating renewals for licensing and agreements were required.
- Conduct regular outreach via phone, emails, virtual or onsite meetings to maintain engagement with customers.
- Collaborate with other departments (such as customer support and product teams) to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell New Era additional products or services.
- Partnering with Account Executives to drive account conversions to the Major accounts team
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products/services, pricing, and promotions to effectively address client inquiries.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as finance, logistics, and product management to ensure smooth order processing and delivery
- Providing regular reports and commentary on pipeline opportunities to grow and expand the customer base.
- Engage with Vendors in consultation with management to optimise the pricing and gross margin on the sole opportunities.
- Maintaining client account and relationship records in the appropriate system
- Ensuring all sales reports and account plans are maintained and up to date
- Maintaining proactive and regular communication with all key stakeholders
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments and competitive landscape.
Who we are looking for
Candidates must possess a strong grasp of sales workflows and technical capabilities, as well as:
- Over 2 years of sales experience in the IT industry, with a strong track record in account management, upselling, and revenue growth
- Skilled in identifying client needs and delivering tailored, tech-driven solutions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with confidence in public speaking
- Proficient in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite; adaptable to new sales tools and technologies
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and goal-driven with a passion for achieving results
- Strong collaborator across cross-functional teams; client-focused and proactive in building lasting relationships
- Energetic self-starter with a natural curiosity for technology and a drive to explore its full potential
