Key Responsibilities
- Rigorous and quality driven on-boarding process taking 3 months before sign-off to serve independently.
- Pro-active actions to ensure SLAs and KPIs are achieved.
- Regular documented and communicated updates with clear status, descriptions and actions in Service Now and Jira applications plus others.
- Incidents and Change form part of daily activities and need to be carefully and accurately worked on towards a successful quality closure following predefined steps.
- Preparation of Changes following precise steps, testing, communication and documentation towards a successful closure.
- Entry into Service (EiS) activities assisting colleagues.
- Project implementation assisting colleagues.
- Monitoring and alerts happen daily where knowledge and response skills are required to ensure quick actions are taken.
- Escalation to colleagues and peers, if in doubt without, to seek advice and guidance is encouraged.
- Reviewing and Updating documentation in tools like Confluence are a key element to follow with diligence.
- Equipment Installation, configuration, implementation and de-commissioning.
- Assisting to ‘make good’ and ‘tidy up’ works to deliver a final customer facing environment.
- Assisting stock management and inventory updates are regular activities and need due diligence and accuracy.
- Adherence to all H&S requirements at site(s)
- Cross country involvement with colleagues outside of the UK.
- Participation and contribution in Google, MS Teams (and others) plus Customer facing meetings when required.
- On Duty in a rota of 1 in 3 weeks over a 7-day week.
- Ability to provide input on areas that can be improved for individual and colleagues.
- Other Job Specifications:
- The candidate will undergo detailed vetting to gain security clearance (SC).
- The environment is heavy aircraft manufacturing operations with high quality, strong culture and significant safety on a global basis.
- Proven ability to work overtime, shift patterns and on-call in a rota system.
- 3 x 8-hour shift patterns commencing on site at 06:00am and 10:00am M-F and a work from home shift commencing at 08:00am which can be flexible with agreement. 30-minute break each shift.
- The need to be less than one hour away from site for any On Call emergency activity to be carried out at site.
- The ability to be a lone worker on site following the agreed site communications and processes.
- Proven technical skills in technologies like Cisco, Aruba, Arista, F5, Cabling and others.
- Take part in pan-European technical expertise, forums, collaborations and escalations.
- Ability to share and gain knowledge with team members and colleagues.
- Protocols IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF
- IOS, VPN, Routing, Firewall, Google, Microsoft, Cloud environments
- Network cabling, copper, fibre, wireless, telephony can be an advantage.

- 2-3 years’ experience in multi-site managed service network environment.
- Manufacturing 24 x 365 campus environment advantageous.
- Ability to work in shift patterns and on-call.
- Full UK driving licence (clean is desired).
- Vetting will be a requirement and must be successful.
