Role Summary 

We are seeking a seasoned Matillion Developer with deep expertise in Snowflake and a solid understanding of banking or financial services data. This role is pivotal in designing, building, and maintaining robust ETL pipelines that support high-performance data operations and regulatory compliance across financial datasets.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL workflows using Matillion and Snowflake
• Work with complex banking datasets including transactions, compliance, risk, and audit trails
• Partner with data analysts, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver actionable data solutions
• Ensure data integrity, security, and performance tuning across all pipelines
• Support cloud-based data integration initiatives on Azure and AWS
• Maintain documentation and contribute to data governance practices

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering or ETL development
• 4+ years hands-on experience with Matillion and Snowflake
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts
• Strong understanding of banking/financial data structures, including regulatory and compliance requirements
• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to data modeling, data quality frameworks, and metadata management
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
