We have an opening for Manager – GIS (Endpoint / Group Network Security Engineering).

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manager to join our Group Information Security (GIS) team. This role is responsible for leading and strengthening enterprise endpoint and network security capabilities, ensuring robust protection against cyber threats across a large, regulated environment.

The position combines hands-on security engineering, strategic planning, and people leadership, and is ideal for professionals with strong experience in financial services or other regulated industries.

Key Responsibilities

Security Engineering & Strategy

• Design, implement, and manage endpoint and network security architecture across the enterprise
• Lead deployment and optimization of EDR, EPP, and network security solutions
• Align security controls with industry frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and organizational policies

Threat Detection & Incident Response

• Ensure effective threat monitoring, detection, and response capabilities
• Lead and support security incident investigations and remediation
• Improve cyber resilience across Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, and Recover domains

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and mentor security engineering teams
• Collaborate with SOC, IT, Cloud, Risk, Compliance, and business stakeholders
• Manage vendors and third-party security partners

Automation & Continuous Improvement

• Drive security automation to improve efficiency and response time
• Use scripting and orchestration tools to streamline security operations
• Continuously assess risks and recommend improvements

Risk, Compliance & Governance

• Support audits, regulatory requirements, and internal risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with financial services security standards
• Contribute to security policies, standards, and best practices

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT / Cybersecurity, with focus on endpoint and network security
• Strong knowledge of enterprise security tools and technologies
• Hands-on experience with EDR, EPP, SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS
• Proficiency in automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or other regulated environments
• Regional or multi-country exposure
• CISSP or equivalent certification (CISM, CCSP, GIAC preferred)
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline
