Job Title: Scrum Master – Medical Device / Healthcare Technology

Mode: Contract

Duration: 6 Months (Extendable)

Work Timings: 3pm – 11.30pm IST

Mode of Work: Remote-India

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile delivery within a regulated medical device environment. This role will work closely with engineering, quality, regulatory, and product teams to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions aligned with industry standards such as FDA and ISO requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives) across cross-functional teams
• Drive Agile adoption and continuous improvement within engineering and product teams
• Remove impediments and proactively address risks impacting delivery timelines
• Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed backlog with clear priorities
• Ensure alignment with regulatory and quality standards (e.g., design controls, documentation, traceability)
• Support integration of Agile practices within a medical device lifecycle (SDLC)
• Promote transparency through metrics such as velocity, burn-down charts, and sprint health
• Coordinate across teams including Software Engineering, QA/Validation, Regulatory Affairs, and Clinical teams
• Coach teams on Agile best practices while adapting to a compliance-driven environment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments
• Experience working in regulated industries (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare)
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
• Familiarity with FDA regulations, IEC 62304, ISO 13485, or similar standards
• Experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally
• Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM, or SAFe Scrum Master)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical imaging, diagnostics, or digital health platforms
• Exposure to cloud-based healthcare systems (AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy standards (HIPAA, GDPR)
• Prior experience working with global distributed teams
