Job Title: Scrum Master – Medical Device / Healthcare Technology
Mode: Contract
Duration: 6 Months (Extendable)
Work Timings: 3pm – 11.30pm IST
Mode of Work: Remote-India
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile delivery within a regulated medical device environment. This role will work closely with engineering, quality, regulatory, and product teams to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions aligned with industry standards such as FDA and ISO requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives) across cross-functional teams
- Drive Agile adoption and continuous improvement within engineering and product teams
- Remove impediments and proactively address risks impacting delivery timelines
- Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed backlog with clear priorities
- Ensure alignment with regulatory and quality standards (e.g., design controls, documentation, traceability)
- Support integration of Agile practices within a medical device lifecycle (SDLC)
- Promote transparency through metrics such as velocity, burn-down charts, and sprint health
- Coordinate across teams including Software Engineering, QA/Validation, Regulatory Affairs, and Clinical teams
- Coach teams on Agile best practices while adapting to a compliance-driven environment
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments
- Experience working in regulated industries (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare)
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
- Familiarity with FDA regulations, IEC 62304, ISO 13485, or similar standards
- Experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally
- Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM, or SAFe Scrum Master)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in medical imaging, diagnostics, or digital health platforms
- Exposure to cloud-based healthcare systems (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy standards (HIPAA, GDPR)
- Prior experience working with global distributed teams
