Lead Software Applications Developer-(Multiple positions available)

Job Location: 901 S Bolmar Street, West Chester, PA 19382 and various unanticipated worksites in the U.S. 

Primary Duties:

Lead the design, build, test, and maintenance of scalable and stable off the shelf applications and/or custom-built technology solutions to meet business needs.  Capture and analyze functional and business requirements by coordinating with business users, analysts and developers.  Analyze and map business requirements and prepare the functional and technical design documents.  Coordinate the Unit testing of models and performance of defect analysis during development phase and pre-production stage to ensure code coverage and early detection of defects to minimize the time and cost impact.  Perform functional, backend, integration, regression, and/or smoke testing.  Facilitate user acceptance testing by the business users.  Provide release notes & status communications to the client, business & end-users.  Guide technical application support and defect fixing to ensure minimum disruptions to the end users and continuity of business processes.  Provide end-user support for software components and products.  Roving employment. Duties may be located at client sites throughout U.S.  Telecommuting from home office may be available per company policy.

Requirements: 

Education:  Bachelor’s degree (or foreign educational equivalent) in Computer Science or a closely related field.

Experience:  In addition to the degree, must have at least 4 years of post-degree, professional experience in a software development role.  Must have 4 years of experience in each of the following:

• Software development domain and principles, including design patterns and code structure;
• Building complex software and/or automation systems that have been successfully delivered to customers;
• Developing and executing software test plans;
• Using version control, bug tracking and issue reporting;
• Creating automation solutions and framework in various programming languages, such as Java, Python, C#; and
• Using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Teamcity.
