  • We prioritize respect, equity, and inclusion in every aspect of our work and culture.

About You:

  • You’re an exceptional writer who sweats the details, and is capable of producing creative examples to set the vision for the team.
  • You have extensive experience in social video advertising for global brands
  • You have experience translating tech/UI forward features into human stories.
  • You’re a charismatic presenter, with the ability to sell through big ideas and make the client feel confident
  • You’re able to think big picture about a social campaign, always ensuring that every asset ladders up to the campaign’s platform or big idea.
  • You have a creator mindset, able to think of engaging social strategies that feel authentic to individual creators even when on a budget.
  • You’re passionate about social and have a handle on whats currently on-trend both visually and in copywriting.
  • You excel at taking a big idea and making it come to life across many social assets and channels in ways that feel bespoke and authentic.
  • You’re not intimidated by fast paced industry changes in trends and technology. You are excited about new and creative ways to provide value to brands in a rapidly changing creative world.
  • You have at least 6 years experience in an agency or studio setting, with at least 2 years leading creative teams.
  • You have a proven track record of delivering effective and interesting social campaigns. You’re on top of social trends and how best to use them to tell brand stories that move the needle for our clients

What You’ll Do

Social Media Mastery

  • You will stay consistently informed on the most current social media trends across platforms to ensure that our campaigns always feel of-the-moment, and never feel “hello fellow kids”.
  • You will be an expert in social advertising best practices, ensuring the team at large has their finger on the pulse when it comes to new advertising formats or platform best practices.
  • You will work closely with the social studio to consider their diverse viewpoints with the intention of crafting campaigns that always feel inclusive to all, and not something that mostly speaks to you personally.
  • You will be an active participant in shaping the social voice of Newfangled Studios so that our social media presence is vibrant, inviting to clients, and inspiring to potential talent.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating and presenting at least 2 workshops per year to the wider staff of Newfangled Studios, as a way to keep all of our team on top of creative trends. Workshops are an opportunity for you to talk about things like emerging social trends, new ad formats, or new ways of thinking for social.

Creative Direction

  • You will work closely with our clients and staff to craft hypercurrent and memorable social media campaigns, both paid and organic, spanning across multiple platforms and media placements.
  • You will give actionable direction, making sure everyone is clear in their next steps while being respectful of the process and trying to ensure no one is crunched along the way.
  • You will interface confidently with clients from creative presentations to in-person meetings and shoots
  • You will direct talent on small scale (lo-fi) social & creator shoots
  • You will react to client feedback with curiosity and enthusiasm to collaborate vs. turning defensive of our creative decisions, and will always retain a positive attitude during long ongoing projects.
  • You will manage team members in day-to-day work to deliver work on time and according to deadlines, both internal and external.
  • You will know and understand our clients’ brand and tone of voice as if they’re your own, and be able to give clear feedback on how to align creative with brand look & tone.

Movement is an Equal Opportunity Employer

Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply for jobs unless they check every single box. Movement is dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive workplace and strongly encourages those from historically and systemically marginalized communities to apply.

We believe that what we put out into the world matters. And since we were founded on the principles of paving our own path, we take bold steps toward what we believe is the right direction. This means addressing the big stuff: the systems of inequality that impact some of us far more than others. As culture creators, we firmly believe we have a responsibility to our colleagues, clients, communities, and the industry to live up to our name. We confront inequities head-on as they come, knowing that this work is never done and that we must keep the momentum.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
