Senior Product Analyst - Product Data Science
Your opportunity
What you'll do
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, user behaviors and corresponding business impact to inform product development decisions.
- Utilize data science techniques and statistical methods to conduct exploratory analyses and develop predictive models that drive business insights and decision-making.
- Develop and maintain a balanced set of KPIs and performance metrics that assess the success of product initiatives, including product adoption, revenue impact, user and customer retention.
- Utilize various data analysis tools and methodologies to extract actionable insights from large datasets, covering both product usage and financial data.
- Create and present data-driven reports and presentations to stakeholders, demonstrating how product improvements positively impact the bottom line
- Stay current with best practices in data analysis and data science to make well-informed data-driven recommendations.
This role requires
- 3 to 7 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in SQL and python for data analysis.
- Experience with data viz tools such as Tableau, Looker or similar
- Knowledge of basic data science methods - regression, classification, tree-based and time series methods.
- Strong technical knowledge of end-to-end analytics (building pipelines, data modeling, generating and synthesizing insights)
- Prior experience (min 2 years) in product analytics. Strong product and business intuition
- Ability to influence and up-level stakeholder requirements from ad-hoc requests to planned data products to have a scaled operational and strategic impact.
- Independently develop and execute on projects including wireframes for self-service dashboards, data reports, and ad hoc analytics capabilities.
- Strong project management skills - Independently execute, document, and communicate. Influence stakeholders and partners while requirement gathering, designing data models and presenting insights.
- Ability to storytell - distill complex nuanced findings into actionable and precise insights.
Bonus points if you have
- High familiarity with data platforms and applications such as Sagemaker, Jupyter, Snowflake, Airflow, FiveTran, DBT
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Prior experience in data science with a track record of successfully deploying the work for business impact
