What you’ll do

  • Contribute to the team’s customer impact by building thoughtful, high quality code that is easy to read and maintain.

  • Participate in the design, development and launch of a new product category at New Relic

  • Collaborate with team members through pairing, reviews, etc. to deliver our sprint commitments.

  • Join our on-call rotation and support our services.

  • Identify and eliminate technical debt so that we can deliver faster with less complexity.

  • Write and share proposals to improve team processes and approaches.

  • Always have our customer in mind. Luckily this is pretty easy for us, since our customers are developers just like us.

This role requires

  • 2+ years of professional experience in software development

  • Good understanding of front-end frameworks/libraries like React and Typescript.

  • Experience working with databases and backend systems/languages 

  • Experience building APIs (REST and/or GraphQL)

Bonus points if you have

  • Interest in learning new languages, platforms, and ideas.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with cloud providers like AWS.

  • Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows.

  • Understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and coding best practices.

  • Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum development environment, adapting to changing requirements and priorities.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a passion for teamwork.

The pay range below represents a reasonable estimate of the salary for the listed position. This role is eligible for a corporate bonus plan. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related factors such as an applicant’s skills, qualifications, and experience.

Estimated Base Pay Range

$106,000 - $133,000 USD
