Software Engineer - Full Stack

What you’ll do

Contribute to the team’s customer impact by building thoughtful, high quality code that is easy to read and maintain.

Participate in the design, development and launch of a new product category at New Relic

Collaborate with team members through pairing, reviews, etc. to deliver our sprint commitments.

Join our on-call rotation and support our services.

Identify and eliminate technical debt so that we can deliver faster with less complexity.

Write and share proposals to improve team processes and approaches.

Always have our customer in mind. Luckily this is pretty easy for us, since our customers are developers just like us.
This role requires
-
2+ years of professional experience in software development
-
Good understanding of front-end frameworks/libraries like React and Typescript.

Experience working with databases and backend systems/languages
-
Experience building APIs (REST and/or GraphQL)
Bonus points if you have

Interest in learning new languages, platforms, and ideas.

Thrive in a fast-paced environment

Experience with cloud providers like AWS.

Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows.

Understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and coding best practices.

Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum development environment, adapting to changing requirements and priorities.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a passion for teamwork.

The pay range below represents a reasonable estimate of the salary for the listed position. This role is eligible for a corporate bonus plan. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related factors such as an applicant’s skills, qualifications, and experience.

Estimated Base Pay Range
$106,000 - $133,000 USD
