If you live and breathe new logo acquisition with a proven track record and you're ready to drive significant impact and help ANZ most innovative companies succeed, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do

As the Senior Manager of Acquisition Sales for ANZ, you will be the primary driver of our large-scale market expansion. You will:

  • Be a Growth Catalyst: Design and execute the sales strategy for the ANZ acquisition segment, focusing on high-value new logo acquisition and strategic expansion within that cohort.
  • Build & Inspire: Recruit, mentor, and coach a team of enterprise and commercial Account Executives, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous professional development tailored to the ANZ market.
  • Lead the Charge: Serve as the strategic lead for the acquisition business, orchestrating cross-functional collaboration with Solution Consulting, Alliances and Channels, Marketing, Product and Customer Success to ensure a seamless, value-driven buyer journey.
  • Forge Strategic Partnerships: Directly engage with C-suite stakeholders at Australia's most high profile accounts, acting as a trusted advisor and executive sponsor to ensure short and long-term customer acquisition, success and growth.

The Skills You'll Bring

We are looking for a motivated, fast paced, results-oriented leader who excels in complex sales environments. You will have:

  • Proven Leadership: A strong track record of leading high-performing sales teams within the ANZ technology market, specifically focused on new logo acquisition in the enterprise segment and delivering consistent, predictable revenue growth.
  • Strategic Execution: The ability to translate high-level business goals into actionable sales territories and account plans that penetrate complex, large-scale ANZ organizations.
  • A Collaborative Approach: A talent for managing diverse stakeholders and an "all-in" team mentality, ensuring your team is supported by the broader New Relic ecosystem.
  • Drive to Excel: An innate passion for winning, a data-driven approach to pipeline management, and the resilience to lead a team through Australia’s fast-paced, evolving technology landscape
  • Performance Focused:  A talent to find a way to perform, overcome obstacles, with data driven performance metrics
  • Coaching & Feedback: A talent for coaching, mentoring your team to high performance along with career progression that builds employee confidence

As the Head of Acquisition Sales for ANZ, you will lead a critical growth engine for New Relic in the region. In a market where digital-first organisations are scaling at an unprecedented pace and AI has become mainstream, your mission is to move beyond "vendor" status to become a strategic partner. You will lead a team focused on driving new logo acquisition through value based customer alignment and ensuring deep platform adoption to maximise customer ROI and impact whilst also driving a consumption-based revenue model, ensuring our customers realize the full potential of the New Relic platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct Leadership: Direct leadership of a high-performing acquisition sales team across ANZ.
  • Acquisition Strategy: Own the "Land-to-Lighthouse" blueprint. Develop and execute account-specific penetration and growth plans that align with our customers strategic business objectives.
  • Innovation Excellence: Be the innovation champion for our most advanced capabilities that drive automation, AI and acceleration of customer business outcomes.
  • Executive Multithreading: Build "C-to-C" relationships with CTOs, CIOs, CFOs and CEOs that help span the New Relic value proposition into undeniable value for our customers.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Partner with Customer Adoption, Marketing, Product and Customer Success to be the owner of your market with clear cross functional alignment and execution.
  • Pipeline & Forecasting: Maintain rigorous sales discipline, pipeline hygiene along with forecast accuracy, predictability, and linearity.
  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Evaluating risks, weighing trade-offs and making timely choices amidst ambiguity.

Requirements

  • Proven Leadership: At least 3-5 years of experience leading sales teams in a fast-paced SaaS environment. You have a track record of hiring, mentoring, and retaining top-tier sales talent in ANZ.
  • C Level Profile: Proven experience managing a ANZ new logo portfolio. You understand the business nuances of the key customer segments and industries.
  • Technical Curiosity & Business alignment : You possess a deep interest in Observability, AI, and Automation. You can clearly align the technical aspect of the solution with the business value discussion and ensure your team executes in a similar manner.

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
