About the role
As a Data Engineer in this dynamic position, you will be crucial in building cutting-edge internal Data Platform Tools that empower diverse teams such as Video, Growth, Feeds, Ads, and Content. Your expertise will enable the investigation, integration, and consolidation of popular open-source solutions into our company’s internal ecosystems. You will handle billion-level data loads daily, ensuring that our infrastructure remains robust and scalable. Your contributions will enhance operational efficiency, facilitate data-driven insights, and support our ambitious growth trajectory.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify their pain points, assess their needs, and translate them into actionable platform capabilities.
- Research and integrate open-source solutions to enhance platform functionalities.
- Design, develop, and optimize internal platform services, ensuring they deliver exceptional performance.
- Evaluate existing internal systems, identify limitations, and implement improvements for optimal design and functionality.
- Build robust systems capable of handling billion-level datasets daily.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven expertise in deploying open-source solutions such as Kubernetes, Kafka, Hadoop, Flink, Spark, Presto, and Trino.
- Familiarity with cloud provider solutions, including AWS and GCP.
- Previous experience in data platform construction is essential.
- Open-source contributions are a plus.

Annual Base Pay Range
$147,000 - $221,000 USD
