About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ad Operations Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our advertising platform. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including advertiser verification, ad quality control, user feedback monitoring, fraud prevention, and technical support.
Responsibilities:
Advertiser Verification:
- Review advertiser applications and verify their business information using internal tools and third-party databases.
- Communicate with advertisers to gather additional information or clarify discrepancies.
- Make informed decisions on advertiser approvals based on platform policies and risk assessment.
Ad Quality Control:
- Review user feedback and monitor ad performance to identify and address any policy violations or content that negatively impacts user experience.
- Proactively identify and stop fraudulent advertisers and campaigns.
- Communicate with advertisers to resolve issues and provide guidance on ad quality and compliance.
User Feedback and Ad Review:
- Monitor user feedback channels to identify and address concerns related to ad content or experience.
- Participate in the ad review process, ensuring that all ads meet platform policies and quality standards.
- Escalate critical issues to relevant teams and provide timely updates to users and advertisers.
Fraud Prevention:
- Implement and maintain fraud detection mechanisms to identify and prevent malicious activities.
- Analyze campaign data and user behavior patterns to identify suspicious activity.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and improve fraud prevention strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in ad operations, digital marketing, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of online advertising ecosystems and technologies.
- Familiarity with ad serving platforms, tracking tools, and measurement methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with advertisers and internal stakeholders.
- Proactive and results-oriented approach with a strong work ethic.
Bonus Points
- Experience with SQL or other data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with fraud detection and prevention techniques.
- Knowledge of privacy regulations and industry best practices.

Annual Base Pay Range
$65,000 - $85,000 USD
