About the role

We are seeking one highly passionate, exceptionally innovative, and results-driven Content Operations Specialist/Manager. If you are enthusiastic about building a thriving content community from scratch and possess the courage and experience to turn ambitious visions into reality, this is your stage! You will be a pivotal force, deeply involved in the end-to-end (0-1) establishment of our platform's content ecosystem, the development and refined management of our creator system, and the rapid growth of core content supply. Through sophisticated operations and innovative community activities, you will comprehensively enhance community engagement, content quality, and user belonging content meets the diverse needs of our audiences. This position bridges content strategy and technology, facilitating the delivery of innovative and trustworthy content products.

Responsibilities

0-1 Establishment and Refinement of the Community Content Ecosystem:

  • Lead and define core content operation strategies and mechanisms
  • based on community development stages and user needs, including but not limited to content categorization, topic setting, recommendation algorithms, and community guidelines, ensuring a healthy, diverse, and high-quality content environment.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze community content data, identifying content trends, user preferences, and community hotspots to provide data-driven insights for product optimization and operational strategies.
  • Manage community content quality, identifying and promoting high-quality content while addressing low-quality or violating content to maintain a positive community atmosphere.

0-1 Setup and Refined Management of the Core Creator System:

  • Be responsible for building and perfecting the community's core creator (KOC/KOL) system, leading the discovery, recruitment, incubation, cultivation, and ongoing operations of high-value creators, consistently boosting their activity, contribution, and content output efficiency.
  • Innovatively design and execute creator growth paths and incentive mechanisms (e.g., support programs, exclusive benefits, online and offline events) to enhance creators' sense of belonging and satisfaction within the community.
  • Regularly engage in in-depth communication with creators to understand their needs and pain points, providing solutions and fostering strong relationships.

Rapid Growth of Premium Content Supply and IP Building:

  • Through planning community events, user engagement, external collaborations, and other diverse methods, continuously increase the quantity and richness of high-quality content in the community, ensuring rapid content cold-start and sustained growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing/brand teams to jointly build unique community content IPs or branded segments, enhancing the influence of community content.
  • Explore new content formats and interactive playbooks to ignite user creativity and participation.

Enhancing Community Engagement and Maintaining User Stickiness:

  • Plan and execute online and offline community activities, topic discussions, interactive challenges, etc., to boost user activity and interaction within the community.
  • Collaborate with product teams to optimize community product features, improve user experience, and foster UGC behavior and the formation of community relationships.
  • Collect user feedback, gleaning insights into user needs and pain points, and promptly coordinate with relevant teams for optimization.

Requirements

Experience & Capabilities:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher. 3+ years of internet content community operations experience, with a proven track record of successfully building and operating a content community or creator system from 0 to 1.
  • Possess a deep understanding of community ecosystems, coupled with unique industry insights and forward-thinking vision.
  • Demonstrate exceptional strategic planning abilities and strong project execution skills, capable of independently undertaking and driving complex initiatives.

  • Community Sensitivity: A passion for community culture, with a high degree of sensitivity and insight into user behavior, community dynamics, and trending topics.
  • Content Planning Acumen: Possess excellent content planning, organization, and editorial skills, capable of independently developing high-quality operational plans.
  • Data Analysis Proficiency: Strong data analysis capabilities, able to identify community issues, evaluate operational effectiveness, and optimize strategies through data.
  • User Operations Expertise: Proficient in user psychology, skilled in tiered user operations and community management, with excellent user communication and retention abilities.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Outstanding cross-functional communication, coordination, and project management skills, enabling efficient collaboration with product, tech, and marketing teams.
  • Innovation & Resilience: Possess innovative thinking and strong resilience, capable of quickly adapting and finding solutions when faced with challenges.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in both Chinese and English (verbal, reading, and writing), able to adapt to a cross-cultural work environment.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in news, local life, or general knowledge content communities.
  • Possess a degree of product thinking, able to provide valuable suggestions for product optimization.
