Reports to: Sr. Project Manager, Supply Chain and Fulfilment

Key Responsibilities:

• Shipment Planning & Execution: Strategically plan, execute, and optimize shipments to various distribution channels, including Amazon and major retailers in US and possibly other countries.
• Supplier Coordination: Manage shipments from suppliers in Mainland China to the US, ensuring accurate preparation of shipping documents.
• Order Management: Ensure accurate transmission of EDI orders to 3PL partners, including routing and order forwarding.
• Inventory Oversight: Monitor and report on inventory levels across multiple locations to support internal forecasting, accounting, and auditing.
• Exception Handling: Proactively monitor shipment exceptions and file claims where necessary.
• Cost Management: Analyze supply chain costs and manage billings for efficiency.
• Vendor Liaison: Directly manage relationships with US-based fulfillment vendors, including 3PL and freight carriers.
• Office Inventory Management: Oversee in-office inventory, sending out shipments from office, also return management and tracking/reporting.
• Quality Control Liaison: Address product quality issues from returns and coordinate with suppliers’ quality engineering teams.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in e-commerce supply chain and fulfillment.
• Language: Proficiency in English and Putonghua (Simplified Chinese)
• Location: Based in Hong Kong
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Self-Motivated: Growth mindset with a strong desire to learn and develop.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Proven ability to manage and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Tech Savvy: Quick to learn and master various IT tools, including modern (e.g., Notion, Slack) and traditional (e.g., EDI, WMS) systems.
• China Experience: Managing shipments from China and coordination with China-based manufacturers, including direct communication with Mainland Chinese suppliers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in retail supply chain management.
• Familiarity with EDI systems.
• Knowledge of managing international supply chains.
