The Role
We are looking for a QA engineer who is passionate about games and has a strong attention to detail, creativity, adaptability, and a results-oriented mindset with high energy and a positive attitude.
Job description
As a QA engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our applications and products by collaborating with project managers and development teams. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing detailed test plans and test cases for games, websites, subscription services, and other projects that contribute to the company's business objectives.
- Performing functional, usability, responsive, performance, security, regression, and localization testing on games and websites.
- Preparing test data for test execution in UAT on firmware.
- Identifying and reporting issues, and providing feedback to the development teams.
- Liaising with developers and designers to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Staying up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in QA.
Key qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in IT-related service/ industry.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Passionate about game development.
