Project Manager
This role is responsible for independently leading medium-to-large projects, ensuring delivery excellence, project health, and client satisfaction. It is focused on the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, risk management, and reporting. The role serves as a primary liaison between clients, internal delivery teams, and external partners, ensuring alignment with strategic goals while fostering collaboration and accountability.
While this role is 100% remote, we are looking for someone in the NY/NJ metro area (NY, NJ, PA, CT) and will be prioritizing the applicants located in that area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Execute project management activities for technical digital initiatives, leading cross-functional teams and coordinating with clients and third-party stakeholders.
- Provide clear direction throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring goals, deliverables, and timelines are well understood.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate comprehensive project plans, including roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and ownership.
- Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships through consistent direct communication and confidence-building interactions.
- Foster team collaboration, inclusivity, and accountability.
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, and resources with discipline, applying best practices in project governance.
- Oversee sprint cycles, backlog management, and agile ceremonies (scrums, standups, retrospectives).
- Ensure documentation, status reports, agendas, and sign-offs are delivered accurately and on time.
- Adapt to occasional non-traditional hours, as needed, to support live sporting events.
- Monitor and report on project performance, financials, and resource utilization.
- Identify risks, issues, and dependencies; manage mitigation plans and escalate appropriately.
- Apply task and change management best practices to ensure clarity, accountability, and quality of delivery.
- Coordinate with development, QA, and release teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Evaluate outcomes, processes, and feedback to recommend and implement continuous improvements.
- Leverage tools, metrics, and retrospectives to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

- 2+ years managing medium to large-scale projects.
- 2+ years of experience managing multiple concurrent projects with demonstrated success.
- Proven experience in consumer-facing digital experiences, with a required background in the sports or sports media industry.
- Strong working knowledge of project management tools and agile methodologies.
- Solid understanding of PMO methodologies, frameworks, and delivery processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to inspire confidence in clients and teams.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Knowledge of Continuous Deployment/Delivery models is preferred.
- PMP or CSM certification strongly encouraged.
Supervisory Responsibilities - This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Location - This role is 100% remote. We are looking for someone in the NY/NJ area (NY, NJ, PA, CT).
Travel Requirements - This position is expected to travel 10% of the time.

Pay Range
$80,000 - $115,000 USD
