VP, Marketing

NextRoll is seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Marketing to lead our marketing strategy and drive growth across our product categories and market segments. You are a visionary leader with a proven track record in Martech and/or Adtech, capable of scaling demand creation and revenue marketing coupled with the ability to strategically position our products in a competitive and evolving market landscape. You are a leader who can champion our culture and values both internally and externally, inspiring teams and fostering a positive, results-driven environment. You will report to the Chief Business Officer for NextRoll.

This role is open in San Francisco, New York City, or Remote locations.

The impact you will make: 

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with NextRoll’s business objectives and growth goals.
    • Position NextRoll’s products strategically in a competitive and fluid market landscape to maximize market share and customer acquisition.
    • Lead the marketing team in identifying and pursuing new market opportunities and segments.
  • Demand Creation and Revenue Marketing:
    • Scale demand creation efforts to drive pipeline growth and achieve revenue targets.
    • Implement and optimize revenue marketing strategies that support the high velocity growth.
    • Collaborate with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with revenue goals.
  • Product Marketing:
    • Oversee the development of product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for multiple product categories.
    • Ensure consistent and compelling product narratives that resonate with target audiences.
    • Drive market research and competitive analysis to influence and develop a multi-year product and business strategy.
  • Brand and Communications:
    • Act as a beacon of culture and values, both internally and externally, representing NextRoll’s mission and vision.
    • Enhance NextRoll’s brand presence and reputation through strategic communications, thought leadership, and public relations efforts.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the marketing team.
  • Team Development:
    • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
    • Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to team members.
    • Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that aligns with NextRoll’s core values.

Skills and experience you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years experience working at an Adtech company.
  • 12+ years experience in the Martech and/or Adtech industry, with a deep understanding of the industry landscape and trends.
  • 6+ years of demonstrated success in marketing leadership roles, managing multiple product categories and segments.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate a competitive and evolving market.
  • Experience in scaling demand creation and revenue marketing to support a high scale SaaS business growth
  • Proven ability to make data driven decisions and trade-offs
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • A track record of fostering a positive and inclusive company culture, embodying the values and mission of the organization.
  • Experience in working with Digital Agencies and industry influence as a luminary will be a plus
