Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement software modules and applications that maintain and improve the overall health, performance, and capacity of software systems and applications involving high volume (billions of requests per day) transaction processing.
• Provide subject matter expertise in systems operations to the application design and development process.
• Implement and design systems and networks used to operate production infrastructure. Create and implement applications that increase automation of routine systems operations using noSQL solutions. Design, implement, and manage continuous delivery pipelines utilizing EMR and Spark.
• Develop software tools to monitor infrastructure and custom applications using Consul, Zookeeper, and ELK.
• Document system design and application operation procedures.
• Build, monitor, and tune production systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced systems issues across software stacking.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field plus two (2) years of experience in software development/software engineering. Experience must include two (2) years of the following: Development of applications involving high volume (billions of requests per day) transactions; noSQL; EMR; Spark; Consul; Zookeeper; and ELK. Experience may be gained concurrently.
