Job Summary: 

As a Programmatic Trader, you will be responsible for the hands-on-keys delivery of programmatic campaigns. You will be an active partner with Client Services and Sales, and coordinate work for advertisers / brands within your portfolio across the team. You are adept at team communication, escalate appropriately, and work well within a matrixed organization. You will be responsible for the optimal execution of Nexxen’s suite of products, driving adoption by exceeding clients’ expectations of service and performance while maximizing profitability.                                                                    

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Programmatic Traders work with partners in the Customer and Sales teams to support Nexxen’s Clients, helping to deliver a series of renowned customer experiences.   
  • Develop and implement the optimal strategy and execution of their client’s campaigns running in the DSP while ensuring overall business portfolio health, as measured by: performance, pace & profitability. 
  • Develop operational-specific training for training clients on the benefits and best practice of Nexxen’s DSP.  
  • Strong communication with mainly internal teams and sometimes extended to external to properly explain Nexxen platform tools and campaign management best practices. 
  • Serve as a main operational point of contact for client service organization with regard to campaign-specific questions, such as optimizations, Nexxen Products, site lists, RFPs, and utilization of data. 
  • Proactive notification to stakeholders about day-day campaign performance, revenue pacing, margin goals, potential areas of improvement, and future business opportunities 
  • Identify problems and develop solutions: creating new delivery strategies and helping others understand how new products and platform capabilities improve campaign health. 
  • Organize & submit platform issues or feature suggestions to relevant teams to improve platform workflows 
  • Up-to-speed with industry knowledge in regards to key platforms, new technology and developing trends, as well as Nexxen’s POVs within the space. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree (Economics, Math, Engineering preferred) 
  • 1+ years of experience in a relevant client management position. 
  • Working knowledge of advertising technology is a must 
  • Proficiency within the online media buying and selling ecosystem, and a strong understanding of DSPs, SSPs, Exchanges, DMPs, & Measurement Providers 
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with an emphasis in Excel 
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize and decipher data, and the wherewithal to leverage insights to produce solutions. 
  • Strong initiative and ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a good attitude. 
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines with demonstrated initiative. 
  • Ability to learn and adapt in a dynamic, high-growth environment 
  • Ability to work well independently; define/manage objectives in a fast paced, ever-changing environment. 
  • Ability to maintain excellent relationships with internal and external partners 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

 Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with SQL and other database management programs 

 

In support of pay transparency and equity, the minimum and maximum full-time annual base salary for this role in NY is $65,000 - 85,000 the time of posting, with the potential of an incentive or bonus. While this is our reasonable expectation this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. We offer a variety of benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, 401(k), EAP, parental leave, discretionary time off, and company-paid holidays.
