The Opportunity

Join Neysa as a Platform Lead – Security, where you will lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise-grade security architectures across platform and corporate environments.

You will play a strategic and hands-on role in strengthening security posture, building threat detection and response capabilities, and ensuring secure, scalable infrastructure for AI-driven platforms.

What you’ll achieve in this role:

  • Architect and implement robust, enterprise-grade security frameworks

  • Strengthen platform security across cloud, network, endpoint, and data layers

  • Build advanced threat detection, monitoring, and response capabilities

  • Drive compliance alignment and governance across systems

  • Lead and mentor teams while delivering high-impact security initiatives

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Platform Lead – Security, you will:

  • Own end-to-end security architecture, design, implementation, and threat management

  • Define and enforce enterprise-grade security standards and configurations

  • Establish security frameworks, design principles, and reference architectures

  • Lead deployment and management of security tools across cloud, network, endpoint, and data domains

  • Build and enhance threat detection, monitoring, and incident response capabilities

  • Define and enforce baseline configurations and system hardening standards

  • Drive proactive threat hunting and continuous improvement of detection use cases

  • Ensure secure onboarding of applications, users, and workloads

  • Ensure service delivery excellence with SLA adherence and operational stability

  • Conduct risk assessments, architecture reviews, and remediation planning

  • Maintain security documentation, detection use cases, and runbooks

  • Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, IT, and compliance teams

  • Lead and mentor team members while contributing hands-on to critical initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • 8 to 12 years of experience in security architecture, platform security, or enterprise security roles

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (preferred)

  • Proven experience in leading security initiatives and managing teams

  • Strong hands-on expertise in implementing security solutions across environments

Core Technical Expertise

Cloud & Platform Security

  • Experience in designing and securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

  • Strong expertise in secure architecture design and cloud security frameworks

  • Deep understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM)

  • Experience with workload protection and cloud-native security tools

  • Knowledge of shared responsibility model and multi-tenant architectures

  • Implementation of secure-by-design principles

Enterprise & Network Security

  • Hands-on expertise in Firewalls (FW), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Proxy, and endpoint security

  • Strong experience in security rule design and enterprise configurations

  • Understanding of segmentation, zero-trust architecture, and secure access models

Threat Management

  • Experience with SIEM and EDR platforms

  • Strong skills in detection engineering, use-case design, and alert tuning

  • Understanding of threat hunting, incident response, and SOC operations

  • Ability to build and mature threat detection and response frameworks

Data Security

  • Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and data classification

  • Strong knowledge of data protection strategies, encryption, and key management

Compliance & Governance

  • Knowledge of ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and DPDPA frameworks

  • Experience aligning security architecture and controls with compliance requirements

Ownership & Delivery

  • Lead and drive security initiatives across platform and enterprise environments

  • Evaluate and implement cost-effective security solutions

  • Ensure consistent security design standards and configurations

  • Act as both a technical leader and hands-on contributor

  • Drive continuous improvement in security posture and platform resilience

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

  • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to complex challenges

Preferred Certifications

  • CCSK / CCSP or equivalent experience

  • Cloud security certifications (AWS / Azure / GCP)

  • ISO 27001, CEH, CISSP, or CISM (added advantage)

Relevant certifications are preferred; however, strong hands-on experience will also be considered.
