Part-Time Content Specialist, NFL+

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

The NFL Digital Media Group is seeking a part-time Content Specialist, NFL+ to work with the Digital Programming team on content marketing with a focus on content creation and social media strategy for the NFL’s Direct to Consumer product, NFL+.

 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage content and social projects, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality and meet NFL+ standards.
  • Create, edit, and publish engaging social content and campaigns with the intention of meeting the goals of NFL Media’s owned and operated platforms (NFL+, NFL App, NFL.com and Connected TV)
  • Brainstorm and generate creative ideas for new content that aligns with cross-functional strategic goals
  • Ensure content is optimized for SEO and other best practices
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement, followers, and brand awareness for NFL+
  • Foster and maintain a positive and engaged online community; monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and respond in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Prepare regular reports on content performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure proper tracking as well as consistent and timely posting
  • Ensure all content whether written or video is grammatically correct, factually accurate, and consistent with the brand’s tone and style
  • Identify and engage with influencers, key community members, and potential brand advocates to grow the NFL+ audience and subscribers

 

Required Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of content creation, content marketing, and social media experience
  • Interest in and working knowledge of the NFL

 

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in communications or related field
  • Familiarity with direct-to-consumer content environment
  • Working knowledge of AP Style

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends (including game day Sundays) and special events/instances of breaking news.

 

Salary / Pay Range

This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range. 

 

Salary

$30 - $36.50 USD
