Marketing & Operations Manager

The Operations & Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on all marketing campaigns and initiatives (on and offline) and NFL Brasil operations aimed at driving growth and engagement of the NFL Fan base and support the expansion of the NFL into the Brazilian market. This position will play a critical role in helping to define the local needs while building NFL Brasil office and managing the Marketing strategy to drive an integrated approach across all channels, platforms, products and NFL pillars, including but not limited to: Tune-In, Digital Shows, Fantasy, Game Pass, Madden, branded content, social/digital assets, Newsletters, NFL Pick’Em, Path to Playoffs, SB Challenge, quizzes and others.

Essential Functions:

  • Ensure the planning, execution, delivery, and tracking of all Brazil Marketing campaigns, working closely with several cross-functional teams such as consumer products, sponsorships, media, branded NFL content, social, PR, CRM, digital marketing and analytics for a consistent and integrated approach with one clear vision.
  • Manage and monitor Brazil Marketing KPIs (DB, social, registers, users…), reporting daily, weekly, and/or monthly (depending on the product) on current position and pacing.
  • Supervise NFL Brazil Social Media strategy depending on avidity type, demographics and platform/format role, including but not limited to increase brand awareness, reinforce engagement, improve marketing efforts and increase sales, among others.
  • Collaborate with the NFL Insights (and D&A) team to better understand Brazil fandom and behavioral trends to better inform marketing decisions and attract new audiences.
  • Support the day-to-day operation and commercial initiatives in implementation and execution of partner marketing campaigns and ad-hoc branded content opportunities.
  • Lead development of all marketing creatives and brand approvals for internal stakeholders and commercial partners, as well as being a liaison with NFL creative team.
  • Manage marketing relationship with Brazilian broadcast partners (FTA, PTV, YT, Cable, radio) and lead Brazil Game Pass, Fantasy, Madden Gaming products, and Database marketing initiatives along with strategic partners’ guidance.
  • Brief and oversee the relationships with the different local and global agencies: media, content, social/digital, PR, etc.
  • Work with community team and Int’l flag to develop fan growth opportunities across Brazil grassroots initiatives.
  • Lead the coordination and relationship with NFL Network, International content, Hispanic (Mundo NFL) and Domestic key teams (social, media and content).
  • Provide constructive feedback for contractual social commitments with partners, sponsors, broadcasters and publishers.
  • Manage Marketing Investment to secure budget accuracy and administration with committed Marketing initiatives through the year.
  • Support GMP marketing initiatives with all participating NFL clubs.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Degree educated (Administration, Commercial/Sales, Marketing/Digital, Finance and/or related)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience
  • 2 years management experience leading people (teams, agencies, stakeholders, others)
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English (both spoken and written)
  • Proficient on Digital terms and innovation
  • Proven creative problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret insights and data to drive marketing strategies
  • Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in using PowerPoint, Excel and Word to develop presentations and budgets
  • Multitasking skills and good time-management skills
  • Passport (for travel to US, MX, Europe)

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Sports/Entertainment Marketing experience preferred but not essential (ideally knowledge of NFL).
