Scheduling Operations Coordinator

Summary

The Scheduling Operations Coordinator will be assigned areas of responsibility to over-see the scheduling of staff and part time operators for the NFL Media studios. The Scheduling Coordinator will work with managers of the assigned areas to maintain good communication with both staff and part time personnel to ensure schedules and availability. This role will also require working on scheduling Production Control Rooms, Stages, Edit Rooms and Edit Workstations.

Responsibilities

  • Review the Show Crew Compliments to create the schedules for the staff and part time technical crews.
  • Contact staff and part time personnel on a timely basis for their availability to ensure schedules are met in time.
  • Work with the Mangers of the assigned areas to resolve any scheduling conflicts that will hinder the upcoming productions.
  • The Scheduling Coordinator will work with the Production Management team to ensure that their shows are staffed properly and coded to the correct budget codes.
  • Work closely with fellow Scheduling Coordinators as they will assist on crew and room changes such as call time adjustments and call-outs.
  • The Scheduling Coordinator will also assist in the training of all new incoming seasonal and part time employees in the scheduling department.
  • Act as lead as they will also be responsible for directing the part time and seasonal scheduling coordinators to assist them with the schedules and crew contact.
  • Collaborate with management on best practices for creating new workflows for distributing and communicating schedules to the crews, producers, and managers.

Required Qualifications

  • Four-year degree or equivalent with a minimum of 2-4 years of experience working in a scheduling environment in Media and Studio Productions.
  • Must have good people and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and in MS Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of Production Control and Stage personnel working in Live Television.
  • Knowledge of Postproduction scheduling and workflows
  • Scheduling of Personnel
  • Knowledge of Scheduling software such as Xytech Media Pulse, and Kronos.

Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range. 

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and Holidays. 

Salary

$32 - $35 USD
