Senior Coordinator, Hotels & Meetings
The NFL Live Events team is responsible for the planning and execution of the league’s tentpole events and International Games. The Senior Coordinator position plays an integral role in supporting the Events team with the execution of all tentpole events and executive meetings with a focus on hotel management, meeting planning and event oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Management of Media Operations at all tentpole events to include oversight of budget, food and beverage, space allocation and prioritization, communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting decor program at all tentpole events to include project and contract management, working closely with the Creative and Sponsorship departments
- Manage the execution of hotel contracts for NFL tentpole events with focus on room block management, attrition mitigation, food and beverage and budget management
- Management for Super Bowl and Draft bid agreements and the Super Bowl and Draft hotel assignment process
- Lead effort for on-site event management at League meetings
- Support International Games series
- Support Marriott partnerships and record keeping
- Support the broader Experiences & Hospitality team in various capacities including contract and payment portal management, operational support, and integration of event best practices and innovation.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of event planning experience
- Highly organized, with exceptional time management and the ability to prioritize tasks as necessary and meet key deadlines
- Effective problem-solving can identify issues, find solutions and make informed decisions.
- Proven ability in managing upwards and communicating effectively. Excellent communication skills used to drive collaboration across business areas and functions.
- Venue management, including contract negotiation and budget management
- Meeting planning and management
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Ability to lead others and collaborate with a variety of groups at different levels
- Strong organizational and presentation skills
- Strong writing and communications skills
- Strong presentation skills with ability to deliver key information to large audiences and senior leadership
- Ability to adapt and be resilient within an ever-changing environment and event landscape
- Enthusiastic, self-starter with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering at the highest standard
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong capability for stakeholder management; confident in influencing and negotiating
- with both internal colleagues and external partners whilst maintaining key relationships
- Demonstrates integrity, motivates team members and is recognized as a valuable team player
- Highly experienced with hotel/venue contracts negotiation and meeting planning
- Experience with environmental décor program planning, implementation and budget management
- Experience working to support Sponsor activations
- Strong Microsoft excel and PowerPoint skills
- C level/VIP management and servicing
- Knowledge in food and beverage management
- Knowledge in RFP creation and process

Physical Demands:
- This is a Special Events hotel and VIP management role, at times may require physicality. This could involve lifting, long hours of standing and physical movement during an event and extensive travel requirements.
Travel:
- Significant domestic and international travel required, including some weekends, up to 50%. Several weeks on the road during event planning and execution.
Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
Terms /Expected Hours of Work:
NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week, on site five days per week.
Salary
$75,000 - $85,000 USD
