The Associate for NFL Content Marketing is responsible for the production coordination of strategic short and long form original content production, primarily focused on Youth, High School, College, Elite, International and Olympic Flag Football year-round storytelling for multi-platform distribution across NFL and Partner programming, as well as responsible for managing NFL Marketing prioritized promotional integration within various NFL Media platforms.

This is a long term hourly contract with the NFL, based onsite five days a week. 

Responsibilities:

Marketing Content Pre-Production:

      • Content strategy and ideation: Concept research, script/outline writing
      • External vendor relations: Research/review/recommend/select third party vendors, onboarding, talent and crew management, manage contractual agreements, budgeting
      • Production management support: Credentialing, book crew/talent travel and hotel
      • Coordinate and facilitate pre-interviews with talent to ensure comfortability and ease of workflow
      • Shoot day locations: Location scouting, location booking, shoot day logistics, shoot schedules, distribute call sheets, handle communication with location representative
      • Knowledgeable of key industry trends, talent and rising Flag Football stars. Grow, foster, and manage working relationships​.
      • Work cross functionally to strategize creative deliverables across channels to ensure the programming of engaging and highest performing content.

Marketing Content Post-Production:

  • Footage collection/management: Manage tracking and archiving of all footage through the media admin team, research/find any internal footage needed
  • Music selection: Work with the Music department to research, recommend, and select music 
  • Manage extension pieces: Work with social programmers and editors to establish social extensions, share necessary footage and outlines, manage distribution across channels
  • Distribution: Work with internal and external partners to establish best distribution practices, write host and social copy, distribute necessary assets to individual stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Social & Influencer Marketing teams to ensure the holistic creation and integration of platform specific customized content.
  • Work with external partners to brainstorm & deliver content for their platforms to extend the reach of our content (to football and non-football centric audiences).

NFL Marketing Integrations:

  • Manage integrations of marketing initiatives on NFL Network
  • Create & distribute weekly NFL Marketing Integration Promotional Prioritizations to internal stakeholders: Host copy, talking points, visual assets, ticker copy, and QR code graphics.
  • Work cross-org managing collab merchandise integrations and guest appearances​
  • Provide programming and metrics integration recap information to relevant stakeholders. 

Requirements:  

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications or Content Production is preferable
  • Must have strong organization and communication skills
  • General knowledge of NFL required
  • Minimum 2-3+ years related experience required
  • Job responsibilities requires some travel, especially during NFL tentpole events
  • Occasional weekend and holiday hours as needed per project

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

 

  • 40+ hours per week in office
  • This job posting is for a position with one of the NFL’s third-party agency partners that provides services to the NFL. The individual selected for this role will be an employee of that third-party agency and not the NFL. All compensation, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment are handled by the agency. The assignment to provide services to the NFL will be limited in duration but may be extended for an additional period by agreement between the NFL and the agency.

Salary / Pay Range

This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range. 

Salary

$30 - $35 USD

This role requires onsite presence at an NFL office or stadium location, and remote and/or hybrid working options are not offered.
