Senior Coordinator, Payroll

The Senior Coordinator, Payroll ensures accurate and timely payroll processing and manages payroll-related tasks, while also ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

    Payroll Processing:

  • Accurately and timely process payroll for all hourly employees and employees covered by collectively bargained regulations, including salary, wages, deductions, and benefits.
  • Process and reconcile payroll data, primarily focused on time and attendance information from UKG into Oracle for processing.
  • Prepare and distribute paychecks and other payroll-related documents.
  • Process and reconcile payroll-related taxes and deductions

Compliance and Auditing:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable payroll regulations, including state and federal laws.
  • Assist with payroll audits and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for payroll-related activities.
  • Provide substantial support on any user acceptance testing for payroll system and time system changes

Coordination and Support:

  • Serve as a point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from employees and managers.
  • Assists in managing 3rd party payroll staff and provides support to Global Payroll Director and team.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Human Resources, IT and Finance, to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Assist with year-end payroll processes, such as preparing W-2 forms and other tax forms.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in processing multi state payroll.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects at once.
  • Works well under pressure and deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPP certification or related a plus but not required
  • Strong Payroll Business and Operational knowledge and experience
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM & UKG Pro preferred
  • Experience with ADP Smart-Compliance
  • Global Payroll experience a plus

Terms /Expected Hours of Work:

NFL employees are required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week in the New York office.

Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials, or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.

Salary

$80,000 - $105,000 USD
