Player Social Marketing & Activations Associate (External Agency Staff)
We are seeking an organized, detail‑oriented, and social savvy temporary team member to provide leave coverage for a role that sits at the intersection of player social programming, content strategy, helmet-off storytelling and initiative support. This position will ensure continuity across key business functions and minimize disruption to ongoing initiatives that require NFL knowledge and project management.
The ideal candidate can seamlessly step into day‑to‑day operations to support the larger team as needed. This temporary support will allow full‑time staff to remain focused on higher‑level strategic priorities and communications while maintaining the quality and consistency of player‑driven marketing initiatives.
This is a termporary hourly contract opportunity, covering a maternity leave, based onsite out at our NYC League Office.
Responsibilities:
- Support ideation of content opportunities for players tied to internal initiatives and marketing priorities (Kickoff, MCMC, STS, etc.)
- Create and maintain content calendars, best‑practice guides, and distribution workflows for players across the League.
- Assist in developing creative concepts that elevate player storytelling, fashion moments, and cultural relevance.
- Support planning and execution of offseason and in-season player events, appearances, and other content shoots.
- Assist with internal documentation, tracking, and reporting across key Player Social projects.
- Support the larger Player Social and Social Production team as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 1-2+ years of experience working in the sports and entertainment industry
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
Salary / Pay Range
