Senior Manager, Administrative Operations Lead

Summary

The NFL is looking for a Senior Manager,  Administrative Operations Lead to our Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) who plays a central role in driving the vision and priorities throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve in a highly trusted role to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and help drive her priorities in all areas  
  • Oversee various initiatives on behalf of the CAO from development through successful execution in collaboration with the CAO’s senior leadership 
  • Assist and communicate with key stakeholders in program management and initiative implementation 
  • Manage processes and coordinate procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity across the CAO’s areas in HR, Data & Analytics, Strategy & Business Intelligence, Information Technology, Social Responsibility and Philanthropy, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion 
  • Assist CAO in preparation for key meetings (research, presentations, materials, etc.) 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the efficient administration and day-to-day operations of the CAO  
  • Partnering with members of the CAO’s senior leadership on Committee and League meeting-related materials including: 
  • Presentation creation or assistance 
  • Assisting with memos and external communication materials 
  • Ensuring all materials are completed promptly 
  • Partnering with the CAO’s leadership team to facilitate the flow of information to and from the CAO 
  • Maintaining accurate files and data records  
  • Support the Executive Admin in managing the CAO’s calendar including prioritizing key meetings/events/relationships/partnerships that advance the League’s mission, vision, and strategy  
  • Coordinate daily with Executive Admin to schedule and organize daily/weekly meetings 
  • Assisting in the effective communication between the CAO and the League’s stakeholders  
  • Ensures correspondence between CAO and constituents is conducted promptly 
  • Managing various projects and/or ad-hoc requests from the CAO 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 8+ years of related experience (or 2+ of management consulting experience) 
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders  
  • Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments 
  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form; exceptional interpersonal skills 
  • Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity 
  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives 
  • Excellent writing and editing skills 
  • Outstanding PowerPoint and Excel skills 

Other Key Attributes / Characteristics:

  • Ability to manage relationships at all levels across the League and Clubs and to establish trust and credibility 
  • Well-versed in all League topics/departments/people / key influencers (internal and external) 
  • Ability to lead multiple, complex priorities with strong project management skills with the ability to achieve results 
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across the League to drive strong outcomes 
  • Ability to be resourceful and solutions-oriented when faced with adversity and complexity 
  • A commitment to the highest ethical standards and to act with exceptional judgment, professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity 
  • Deep respect for the history of the League and the power of the NFL’s impact on communities 
  • Demonstrate high EQ and a positive attitude; understand cultural dynamics and manage interpersonal sensitivities

  • Comfortable with extensive work schedule and ability to travel as needed 

Salary / Pay Range

This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range. 

 

Salary

$130,000 - $150,000 USD
