Seasonal Part-Time Editor 1

The NFL Media Group is seeking a versatile editor with advanced skills in After Effects, Photoshop and Premiere. The Editor 1 is responsible for executing daily deliverables for NFL Media platforms using game highlights and custom graphics.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and edit high-end show elements including video packages, highlights, music videos, and show fixes to deliver polished, broadcast-quality content that enhances overall production value and audience engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges in live production environments under tight deadlines
  • Leverage expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite to elevate the visual impact of content - particularly Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop
  • Lead projects from concept to final delivery, making key creative and editorial decisions to ensure polished, broadcast-ready content
  • Uphold brand guidelines and technical quality standards across all video outputs
  • Drive the storytelling process behind creative outputs, providing editorial vision that is clear, concise, and engaging
  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of organization in managing projects, assets, and workflows, ensuring timely delivery under tight deadlines
  • Background in editing both shortform news tapes and longform content, demonstrating versatility across highlight packages, features, and documentary-style storytelling

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in live production environment working with both studio broadcast and digital/ social media platforms 
  • Experience editing high-end, high-volume content in a live production environment
  • Must follow and have thorough knowledge of the National Football League, associated events and storylines
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and DaVinci Resolve
  • Strong experience mixing and delivering projects in 5.1 audio formats
  • Must be able to take complex stories and concisely tell them to our fans
  • Must be adaptable and able to work quickly under short deadlines and tight turnarounds
  • High level of attention to detail 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, broadcast media, web production or related field preferred 

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • Seasonal / 7-month role
