Seasonal GameDay Morning Production Assistant

NFL Media is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Seasonal Production Assistant to join the NFL GameDay Morning team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for football and a strong understanding of NFL content. The ideal candidate will assist in all aspects of show production—from working in edit bays to pitching segment ideas and running teleprompter during live broadcasts. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to one of the NFL’s flagship studio shows while learning the fast-paced world of sports television production.

Essential Functions 

• Work closely with the entire NFL GameDay Morning team on a daily basis on show content 
• Work in edit bays with an editor to cut music videos, promos and b-roll tapes 
• Run teleprompter during NFL GameDay Morning 
• Formulate and pitch ideas for show elements as well as segment topics in production meetings 
• Adhere to established production schedule to meet deadlines 
• Strong NFL knowledge is required 

Required Education and Experience 

• Years of experience 1-3+
• College degree in Communications, Journalism or related field is required. 

Preferred Education and Experience 

• Previous professional experience in TV Production environment is strongly preferred 

Other Key Attributes / Characteristics 

• Must have strong editorial skills and NFL knowledge to know what video and soundbites are best to edit 
• Must be able to respond quickly on short deadlines 
• Must be able to respond positively to criticism 
• A team attitude is mandatory in all tasks requested from the smallest to largest 

Salary / Pay Range
