2027 National Girls & Women in Sports Day Application

Major League Baseball will host the fourth annual NGWSD event on Feb. 3, 2027, at MLB headquarters in New York City. The networking event will provide women with the opportunity to learn from current employees who work for the Office of the Commissioner, MLB Clubs, MiLB Clubs and others in the industry. The event will include small group workshops, panel discussions and a networking session with MLB employees.

To be eligible for selection, applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Be a current undergraduate student (junior year or later), a graduate student, or a JD student with an interest in working in baseball.
• Be a recent college graduate (within the past three years) with an interest in working in baseball.
• Be a current college softball or baseball coach or graduate assistant.

To clarify, applicants MUST be in their junior year of college or higher or graduated within the past three years unless such individual is a current college coach. Attendees will be selected based on prior experience, application written portion and readiness to begin a career in baseball. The event is free to attend for selected participants; however, participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging. The application deadline is Nov. 2, 2026, to be considered.

Participant selection is based on the sole discretion of Major League Baseball’s Office of the Commissioner and will be final. Participating in this event does not guarantee interview opportunities or a career in baseball. This is a limited capacity event; not all applicants will be selected.
