Associate Product Marketing Manager, Niantic Studio and Niantic Scaniverse

Are you passionate about crafting impactful content that drives product success? We’re seeking a Product Marketing Manager with a strong background in content creation to elevate Niantic’s innovative tools—Niantic Studio and Niantic Scaniverse—for developers and creators building immersive WebXR and 3D experiences grounded in the real world.

In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind telling the story of our Studio and Scaniverse tools to a wide array of audiences, from developers to professional creators, ensuring our products stand out in the changing fields of AR, VR, and spatial computing.

As a key member of the Niantic Studio and Scaniverse teams, you’ll craft compelling content across various channels (landing pages, email campaigns, blogs, social media), bringing technical features to life and showcasing the potential of our tools for shaping real-world AR, VR, and XR experiences. This role will require a strategic mentality and a creative approach to content that supports product launches, campaigns, and long-term growth goals.

Who you are:

  • Strong and creative communicator: You’re not afraid of the blank page. You're able to adapt how you communicate and weave compelling narratives that reach your audience and differentiate Niantic from its competitors.
  • Organized executor: You understand how to keep track of various, independent, work streams and can prioritize between simultaneous tasks.
  • Proactive storyteller: You don't wait for assignments. You proactively identify key storylines and channels that amplify the product and marketing roadmap.
  • Skilled collaborator: You enjoy a cross-functional environment, working with product, engineering, and the broader marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective content distribution.
  • Visually-Minded: You know that words alone can’t tell the full story. Whether you’re collaborating with designers or creating assets yourself in Canva or Figma, you always seek ways to elevate the narrative, ensuring the visuals amplify and complement the message.
  • Adaptable: Ambiguity doesn’t faze you. You thrive in hyper-growth or never-been-done-before environments and embrace the challenge of taking on something entirely new.
  • Team Oriented: Collaborate with cross-functional team members and stakeholders, including regular and reliable attendance and participation in meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Content creation: Generate impactful marketing materials that support campaign objectives and amplify our message. This includes translating marketing goals into high-impact collateral such as landing pages, pre-and post-event emails, social media promotions, and content that enables our overall campaigns.
  • Launch Support: Provide content support for product launches, including blog posts, case studies, and customer stories that highlight product benefits and use cases.
  • Social Strategy: Working with our external agency, coordinate and guide the social media content calendar across products, ensuring all posts align with the product’s narrative and broader marketing goals.
  • Performance analysis: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of your channels to drive continuous improvement, ensuring that our approach delivers on key business metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
  • 4-6 years in marketing, with a preference for experience in content marketing or product marketing.
  • Skills in drafting and implementing effective marketing content across multiple channels to build a new category.
  • Familiarity with Niantic’s vision and mission.
  • Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally.
  • Familiarity with CRMs like HubSpot a plus
  • Familiarity with design tools like Canva or Figma a plus
  • History of working with geospatial or XR communities a plus

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
