Enterprise Solution Engineer

We are seeking an Enterprise Sales Engineer Manager to help Niantic develop a thriving enterprise business. Through the use of Niantic's innovative AR and spatial services, you will enable precise AR experiences. As the technical lead, you will offer advice and support to our customers and partners, ensuring their success with our platform.

Join Niantic's team to collaborate with leaders in business, product, and engineering. Develop and expand solutions for B2B and B2B2C use cases. Engage with internal teams and external partners and customers.

Understand customer needs, offer technical solutions, and explain the value of our services to drive business growth. Your expertise in Niantic's spatial solutions and ability to communicate their value to various customers are crucial in establishing our presence in a new market. We need an adaptable and collaborative leader to refine our approach and expand our new business.

Responsibilities

  • Understand our product/service’s technical features, functionalities and benefits.
  • Study customer needs and business challenges and build customized proposals with the business and product teams.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase key features and functionalities and guide customers through the adoption and implementation process.
  • Provide post-sales support to customers, including technical guidance and customer training to ensure their happiness with the offering.
  • Shape Niantic product strategy and direction and stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics and competitor offerings.
  • Liaise with the engineering or technical team to prioritize concerns or requirements.
  • Develop and deliver technical sales documentation, including technical specifications and product training sessions.
  • Collaborate internally to gather technical requirements and ensure the successful implementation of solutions.
  • Give active feedback and insights from the market to the product development and marketing team.
  • Contribute to building the business and the team
  • Provide pre-sales support by answering technical inquiries and participating customer engagements
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events to promote our the Niantic Spatial Platform.
  • Collaborate with the team in-person and in-office two days per week.

Qualifications

  • BA or equivalent experience in engineering, computer science or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a sales engineer or in a similar technical sales role.
  • Strong technical background and ability to understand sophisticated technical concepts and effectively communicate them to developers and non-developers.
  • Demonstrable experience in communicating technical products and services to customers, providing expert advice and addressing customer queries.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport and establish positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify customer needs and propose innovative solutions.
  • Self-motivated and driven with a proven track record of consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets and achieving favorable outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Plus if...

  • Deep understanding of geospatial and/or mapping services.
  • Experience with AR, and/or VR technologies.
  • Experience with developer products (e.g. SDKs).

The total compensation package for this position includes a new hire offer base salary range of $170,100.00 - $189,000.00 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Individual pay within this salary range is determined by work location and additional factors, including assessed job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
