NiCE Actimize is the global leader in enterprise financial crime solutions, empowering financial institutions to detect and prevent fraud, AML violations, and other financial crimes.
We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our Professional Services team in Pune, supporting clients in the North America region. In this role, you will be responsible for designing scalable, high-performance solutions, driving architecture excellence, and establishing strong credibility with customers.
As a key technical leader, you will work across multiple concurrent projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, customers, and stakeholders to deliver robust, future-ready solutions tailored to complex business needs.

How will you make an impact?
Solution Design & Architecture
- Lead solution design for complex NiCE Actimize implementations and customization projects
- Architect scalable, maintainable, and upgradeable solutions aligned with customer business needs
- Design high-availability systems with strong focus on performance, reliability, and scalability
- Review and document end-to-end solution architecture across environments
Delivery Leadership
- Provide technical leadership and guidance across all project phases—from planning to production deployment
- Lead multiple concurrent engagements balancing strategic direction with tactical execution
- Work closely with implementation teams and client stakeholders (business and IT)
- Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and architectural guidelines
Client Engagement & Credibility
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers in post-sales engagements
- Present and position Actimize solutions to create strong credibility for Professional Services
- Engage with clients to understand business challenges and translate them into technical solutions
- Apply a consultative approach to problem solving
Collaboration & Innovation
- Collaborate with Product Management to influence and define new product features
- Support presales activities including solution design, demos, and RFI/RFP responses
- Work with cross-functional teams across engineering, delivery, and business units
- Champion architectural standards and promote best practices across teams
Capability Building & Governance
- Create and maintain standard architecture documentation, tools, and reusable frameworks
- Develop and promote best practices across Professional Services engagements
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
- Contribute to continuous improvement in solution design methodologies
Have you got what it takes?
- 8-12 years of experience in software industry with strong focus on solution architecture
- Current or recent experience as a Solution Architect (mandatory)
- Experience in consulting or professional services environments preferred
Technical Expertise
- Strong experience in:
- Software integration and distributed system design
- Web architecture (web servers, application servers)
- Database systems (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and performance optimization
- Working knowledge of:
- Core Java
- AWS / Cloud technologies
- Web services (SOAP, REST)
- Understanding of modern technologies:
- Containerization
- Kafka / messaging systems
- CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git)
Architecture & Systems Knowledge
- Designing for high availability and scalability
- Security protocols: SSL, SSO, Kerberos, authentication mechanisms
- System integration: web services, message queues
- System performance analysis and troubleshooting
Nice to Have
- Experience with NiCE Actimize products (AML, Fraud, FMC)
- Exposure to cSaaS and on-prem deployment models
- Knowledge of hardware sizing and capacity planning
- Experience designing high-volume, large-scale systems
- Financial services domain experience (banking, insurance, brokerage)
