Senior Compliance Specialist, Credential Support
Position Summary:
The Senior Compliance Specialist, Credential Support (internal title: Senior New Learner Compliancy Specialist, Credential Support) serves as the lead within the New Learner Compliancy team, providing guidance, oversight, and support while actively managing a cohort of learners. This role ensures compliance processes are consistently followed, contributes to the team’s overall compliance efforts, and supports team members during high-volume periods.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Acts as the team lead for New Learner Compliancy Specialists I–III, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Maintains direct responsibility for a cohort of learners, completing compliance tasks alongside team members.
- Manages mass communications to the learner population in collaboration with the leadership team across Academic Operations, ensuring timely and accurate updates regarding credentialing requirements.
- Assists collaborators with overflow during peak periods or absences to ensure timely completion of credentialing tasks.
- Escalates and resolves complex compliance issues in coordination with internal teams and third-party vendors.
- Monitors and ensures accurate documentation in credentialing systems for assigned learners.
- Participates in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serves as a subject matter expert for credentialing processes, policies, and system navigation.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in credentialing or related compliance roles.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentorship capabilities within a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across multiple mediums (phone, email, text, conference calls).
- Ability to manage escalations and provide solutions efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and credentialing systems.
Budgeted Hiring Range
$31 - $33 USD
All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will cover travel, lodging, and other accommodations.
