Specialist IV, Experiential Learning Placements
Position Summary:
Specialist IV in EL Placements, oversees complex placement logistics, including sites requiring special portal access or paper-based applications, and conducts year-round outreach to source and manage sites. They secure experiential learning placements and provide oversight and guidance to Specialist II as they work to clear learners through their onboarding.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Secure experiential learning placements at assigned and prospective sites.
- Manage placements for sites requiring special portals or paper-based applications.
- Conduct year-round outreach to existing and prospective sites to secure placement opportunities.
- Initiate real-time requests and communications with new sites to meet learner needs.
- Maintain communication with current and new sites to ensure partnership satisfaction.
- Oversee and provide guidance to Specialist II, ensuring proper handling of site requests and learner clearances.
- Monitor site onboarding and communication requirements, updating shared digital interfaces.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and meetings.
- Ensure data integrity within portals, CRM, and other systems.
- Support pre- and post-semester placement projects.
- Escalate critical or systemic issues to leadership as necessary.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent certification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in placement coordination or educational operations.
- Strong communication, customer service, and professional correspondence skills.
- Experience managing complex or non-standard placement processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM, and placement portals.
Budgeted Hiring Range
$30 - $33 USD
All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will cover travel, lodging, and other accommodations.
