Recruiter, Talent Acquisition

Position Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven and relationship-focused Recruiter to partner closely with hiring leaders and support full-cycle recruiting efforts across the organization. In this role, you will manage requisitions from intake through offer, develop effective sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions, and ensure a positive candidate and hiring manager experience. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, a growth mindset, and a commitment to transparency, accountability, and building community while delivering timely, high-quality hiring outcomes.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Partners with function leaders regarding new requisition requests and conducts intake meetings. 
  • Develops and reviews job ads for accuracy. 
  • Determines sourcing efforts for hard-to-fill positions and collaborates with Talent Acquisition team members.  
  • Reviews and screens candidates prior to submitting for further review. 
  • Schedules screens and interviews for function leaders as needed. 
  • Extends job offers via the applicant tracking system and initiates background checks and drug screens.  
  • Provides weekly updates with summary reports to function leaders regarding active requisitions. 
  • Ensures professional communication and timely follow-through with function leaders and candidates. 
  • Utilizes Indeed, LinkedIn, and/or other sourcing tools to develop candidate pools and to increase candidate flow for difficult-to-fill positions.  
  • Works on talent acquisition projects as needed. 

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  • Experience marketing job opportunities to prospective candidates. 
  • Experience working with an applicant tracking system and/or HRIS. 
  • 2+ years experience in full-cycle recruiting preferred. 

Budgeted Hiring Range

$66,000 - $74,000 USD

All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will cover travel, lodging, and other accommodations.
