Liaison II, Partnerships
Position Summary:
The Liaison II, Partnerships plays a key role in supporting the relationships between Nightingale College and experiential learning partners or partnered health care facilities, assisting in the successful placement of learners for Integrative Practicum (IP) and Experiential Learning (EL). This role requires developing skills in relationship management, maintaining professionalism, and ensuring accurate, timely coordination of partnership activities. The Liaison II works under moderate supervision, with growing responsibility for managing their assigned tasks and partnerships.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Workload management with supervision: Manages a smaller portfolio of partnerships with oversight, ensuring accurate coordination and timely follow-up on tasks. The Liaison II is responsible for maintaining consistency in their work, while demonstrating an eagerness to improve and take on more responsibility over time.
- Developing relationship management skills: Assists in maintaining positive relationships with experiential learning partners by acting as a supportive liaison. The Liaison II builds rapport with partners and internal teams, learning to navigate professional relationships while growing in their ability to communicate effectively and respectfully.
- Professional communication: Communicates clearly and professionally with partners and colleagues, adapting their style as needed. The Liaison II ensures all interactions reflect transparency and courtesy, while seeking clarification when needed to fully understand partner expectations and requirements.
- Growth mindset and openness to learning: Embraces a learning-oriented approach, actively seeking feedback from supervisors and partners to improve. The Liaison II demonstrates a desire to grow, consistently applying new knowledge to refine their skills and build expertise in partnership management.
- Attention to detail and accurate data entry: Supports data management by ensuring that all partner communications and agreements are accurately documented in the CRM system and SharePoint. The Liaison II is responsible for maintaining organized and precise records, ensuring data integrity while managing a smaller volume of partnership activities.
- Collaboration and teamwork: Works closely with internal teams to coordinate IP and EL placements, ensuring that schedules and logistics are aligned with partner needs. The Liaison II communicates clearly with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of learner placements, offering support and follow-up when needed.
- Proactive problem-solving with guidance: Learns to identify potential challenges early on and seeks guidance when needed to resolve issues in a timely manner. The Liaison II works with their supervisor to develop the skills needed to make informed decisions, gradually building confidence in problem-solving.
- Adapting to shifting priorities: Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability by adjusting to changing partner needs and deadlines. The Liaison II is learning to handle multiple tasks effectively, with an emphasis on maintaining professionalism and responsiveness in dynamic situations.
- Growing expertise in relationship management: As part of their development, the Liaison II contributes insights to enhance partnership strategies, collaborating with their supervisor and team to improve workflows and partner satisfaction. While still developing their expertise, they support the overall success of the Partnerships function.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated at least 1-2 years of experience in business-to-business sales or relationship management experience is required, in a healthcare or education setting is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills are required.
- Demonstrated experience with customer relationship management software is required.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and SharePoint, is required.
- Ability to travel based on the cadence indicated above.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud is strongly preferred.
Budgeted Hiring Range
$72,000 - $76,000 USD
All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will cover travel, lodging, and other accommodations.
