Specialist I, College Curriculum
About the Role
The Specialist I, College Curriculum sits at the intersection of curriculum delivery and learner support. You'll work alongside a collaborative team to keep testing operations running smoothly, surface issues before they become problems, and ensure that every learner gets a fair, timely, and well-supported assessment experience.
This is a detail-oriented, relationship-driven role — you'll be communicating across teams, managing workflows, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks when it comes to the curriculum experience.
About Nightingale
Nightingale College is more than a nursing school — we're a high-impact community united by a shared purpose: transforming lives through nursing education. Every team member, in every function, plays a role in that mission. We're looking for people who want their work to matter.
What You'll Do
- Manage HESI testing operations — order exams through Elsevier and ensure timely transfer to ProctorU for auditing
- Support learner accommodations — work closely with the 504 Coordinator to ensure testing accommodations are in place and accounted for
- Monitor and review Honorlock exam violations weekly and communicate any flagged concerns to the evaluation team
- Serve as a communication bridge between the Innovations division and appropriate stakeholders for changes impacting curriculum delivery
- Categorize and route course concerns so issues are addressed promptly and by the right people
- Test and provide feedback on SOPs to ensure accuracy, effectiveness, and continuous improvement
- Respond to learner inquiries in shared mailboxes with professionalism and care
- Contribute to special projects and provide general support to the curriculum delivery team as needed
What You Bring
Required:
- Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS) — Canvas preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint
- Experience in learner/student-facing roles or support environments
Preferred:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- One or more years of experience in higher education
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment
Why Nightingale
- Fully remote with a collaborative, mission-driven team culture
- Work that directly supports nursing learners on their path to changing communities
- A community that values growth, transparency, and doing things the right way
- Teammates who show up for each other — and for the learners we serve
If you're someone who cares about the details, thrives in a team environment, and wants your daily work to contribute to something larger than a task list — we'd love to meet you
