Coordinator, Faculty Development

Remote

About the Role

The Coordinator, Faculty Development plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in keeping our nursing programs running with integrity and precision. You'll be the operational backbone that ensures faculty credentialing, compliance, learner support, and academic standards are consistently met — because when those systems work well, faculty can focus on what they do best, and learners get the education they deserve.

This is a detail-oriented, process-driven role with real purpose: every audit you complete, every grade you verify, and every at-risk learner flag you track translates directly into better outcomes for our nursing community.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate communication with faculty to ensure credentialing requirements are established within 30 days of new hire and maintained throughout employment, in alignment with accreditation and partner standards
  • Track and update faculty licensure to maintain accurate CVs and ensure ongoing compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards
  • Identify at-risk learners and maintain the contact list, ensuring faculty have the information they need to support learner success
  • Review and audit communications for at-risk learners to ensure they meet catalog standards
  • Audit faculty feedback on learner assignments to confirm all interactions meet function standards for regular and substantive interaction (RSI)
  • Monitor required faculty activity — including email response times, discussion postings, webinar participation, LMS activity, learner outreach, and grading turnaround — to ensure compliance with College standards
  • Record and audit attendance by verifying academic activity for discussions, webinars, virtual case-based client care (VCBC), and direct focused care (DFC) — within four hours where required
  • Audit final grades to confirm accuracy across the Learning Management System (LMS) and Student Information System (SIS)
  • Review flags for proctored exams and make recommendations to nursing education leadership regarding whether to uphold or overturn
  • Communicate grade changes to all relevant stakeholders resulting from grievance overturns, incompletes, remediation, late work, and end-of-semester determinations

What You Bring

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting involving medical terminology
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing information for accuracy and completeness
  • Demonstrated experience following established processes and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
  • Certification in medical billing and coding, medical assisting, or ICD-10
  • Some experience with Canvas or another Learning Management System (LMS)
