Job Summary

NineDot is seeking an experienced and strategic Treasury Manager to lead and optimize our cash management, banking relationships, and financial risk mitigation efforts. This role is crucial in ensuring financial stability and efficiency as we scale our operations in the renewable energy sector. The Treasury Manager will develop and execute treasury policies, oversee liquidity planning, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance treasury functions. This position requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of treasury operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily cash positioning, forecasting, and liquidity management to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Develop strategies to optimize working capital and cash flow across multiple projects and entities.
  • Manage execution of electronic and non-electronic fund transfers, foreign exchange transactions, and investments.
  • Ensure connectivity between ERP systems and banking platforms for streamlined operations.
  • Lead analysis and strategy development for mitigating interest rate, foreign exchange, and credit risks.
  • Manage restricted cash accounts and ensure proper waterfall distributions.
  • Develop risk management frameworks and policies to enhance financial stability.
  • Maintain and strengthen banking relationships, negotiating terms and services to optimize costs and efficiencies.
  • Oversee new bank account openings, Know-Your-Customer (KYC) documentation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead fee analysis and cost-saving initiatives for banking services.
  • Support financing initiatives, including debt structuring, capital allocation, and financial instrument selection.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, treasury policies, and reporting standards.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors on treasury-related reviews and reporting.
  • Develop and implement best practices for treasury operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance automation, process efficiency, and reporting accuracy.
  • Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and innovations in treasury management.
  • Partner with Project Finance, Accounting, Engineering, and Operations teams to support financial decision-making.
  • Provide insights on cash flow, funding strategies, and risk mitigation to drive business growth.
  • Manage the payment process and ensure timely principal and interest payments for loans.
  • Support capital allocation decisions and financial planning initiatives.
  • Perform other tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CTP or CFA certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or a related function, preferably in the renewable energy, infrastructure, or clean technology sector.
  • Strong knowledge of cash management, treasury operations, banking relationships, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in treasury management systems (TMS), ERP systems, and financial modeling tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in liquidity forecasting, working capital management, and compliance.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills, and self-sufficient.
