About the Role
As the Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager, Nurture & Re-Engagement, you will build and run the nurture motion for helping move prospective and current customers through to their next stage of engagement with NinjaOne. You will drive pre-sales nurture marketing programs that produce sales-ready and qualified leads from our database, as well as nurture and engage post-sales customer accounts to ensure they are properly onboarded and maintaining value. This is a people-leadership role with two direct reports and potential for further team growth based on company need and demonstrated results.
Reporting to the Director of Lifecycle Marketing, you will partner closely with Sales/SDR leadership, Marketing Operations, Marketing Data Science & Analytics, and other Revenue Marketing teams to design, automate, measure and optimize these journeys.
Location - We are flexible on remote working from home, if you are located in the USA and reside in one of the following states - CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, *IL, KS, ME, MA, MD, NJ, NC, NY, OH, OR, TN, TX, VA, & WA.
What You’ll be Doing
-
Pre-Sales Lead Nurture
- Design and operate multi-stage nurture tracks that develop early-stage, not-yet-sales-ready leads based on lead score, behavior, and firmographic signals
- Partner with Marketing/Sales Ops to define lead scoring thresholds and the criteria and timing for handing a nurtured lead to sales
Closed-Lost Re-Engagement
- Own re-engagement programs for closed-lost opportunities, using signals such as contract timing, product usage/intent, and firmographic change to time and personalize outreach
- Build always-on and triggered win-back journeys that replace today's blunt, generic revival emails
- Coordinate hand-off with Sales when a re-engaged account shows renewed buying intent
Post-Sales Onboarding & Adoption Oversight
- Direct the strategy for the Onboarding & Adoption phase of the post-sales customer journey to ensure automated engagement touchpoints drive fast time-to-value and sustained product adoption
- Ensure a seamless, connected customer experience from pre-sales nurture through post-sale onboarding and adoption, aligning messaging, cadence, and signals across the full lifecycle
- Partner with Customer Success and Product Marketing leadership on shared onboarding and adoption KPIs, escalation paths, and handoff points between nurture and onboarding motions
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Design integrated, cross-channel and personalized journeys that nurture contacts not yet ready for sales follow-up into sales qualified leads to be activated by our SDR teams
- Be dually responsible for components of campaign execution like email-based nurture while also working across stakeholders in our Inbound/Website, Integrated Media, and Regional Marketing teams to execute these journeys in an orchestrated, coordinated motion
- Partner with Marketing Operations and the Marketing Data team to build and refine lead scoring models and identify the signals that predict sales-readiness
- Collaborate with Marketing Operations on systems, workflows, and lead routing/hand-off
Team Leadership
- Manage, coach, and develop two direct reports, setting clear goals and delivering regular, actionable performance feedback
- Model and reinforce NinjaOne's values and a strong team culture as the function scales
Measurement & Optimization
- Own and report on: the % of nurtured leads that convert to demo stage, and the % of closed-lost opportunities re-engaged into a new opportunity, plus re-engagement velocity
- Oversee onboarding and adoption KPIs (time-to-value, activation, and product adoption outcomes) owned and reported by the Lifecycle Marketing Manager, Onboarding & Adoption
- Run A/B and multivariate tests to improve nurture and re-engagement performance
- Translate performance data into scoring, segmentation, and journey design recommendations
- Other duties as needed
