This individual will take ownership of key planning processes, collaborate cross-functionally across the business, and support strategic initiatives including IPO preparation. The role is ideal for a high-performing analyst who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow into a leadership role over time.
- Take ownership of the company-wide financial model, including monthly updates, driver-based forecasting, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analysis
- Learn and eventually own key FP&A workstreams, including forecasting, monthly reporting, and business support
- Support ROI tracking of strategic initiatives, including investment payback analysis and post-mortem reviews to evaluate actual performance vs. plan
- Become a power user and primary stakeholder for our financial planning software (Pigment), helping maintain the system and support data governance
- Deeply understand the company’s financial and operational KPIs, and partner with business leads to create actionable insights
- Partner with Accounting, Strategy, and department leaders to align on forecast assumptions and deliver high-quality variance analysis
- Assist in IPO readiness efforts, including metric standardization, data integrity, and documentation
- Help prepare monthly and quarterly presentations for executive leadership and the Board of Directors
- Support budgeting and reforecasting processes, ensuring timely inputs and alignment with company strategy
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, ideally in fintech, SaaS, or a high-growth tech environment
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; Excel super user required
- Excellent communicator with proven ability to work across functions and influence stakeholders at various levels
- Highly organized, intellectually curious, and proactive in identifying and solving problems
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline
- Experience with financial systems such as NetSuite, Looker, and Pigment strongly preferred
- MBA or CFA designation
- Experience supporting IPO readiness
- Exposure to executive-level reporting or Board presentations
- Prior ownership of company-wide financial modeling
The salary range for this role will be $130,000.00 - $145,000.00 USD. In addition, this position will also receive an annual target bonus of 10%. Bonus pay at NinjaTrader is based on individual performance (50%) as well as company/team performance (50%).
Salary and bonus earnings are only two components of the total compensation package offered by NinjaTrader. NinjaTrader offers a 401K plan through ADP under which the company will match up to 3.5% of employee contributions. Annual paid time off allowance accrues at a rate of 18 days per year (some positions may qualify for more) plus seven paid holidays. Additional details on our total compensation package and benefits are listed below.

Location: This role is based in Chicago, IL.
