What you’ll do
As a Strategy and Strategic Finance Associate, you will help shape the company’s strategic direction, drive key business development initiatives, and support fundraising efforts that enable the scale-up and commercialization of our groundbreaking magnet technology. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment and is eager to make a tangible impact in an emerging, deep-tech industry.
Strategy Development & Market Analysis

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and evolve Niron’s go-to-market strategy, including segmentation, positioning, and commercialization planning.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities
- Build strategic frameworks and data-driven models to inform executive decision-making and long-term business planning
- Translate market insights into actionable recommendations and workstreams that guide Niron’s growth trajectory
Fundraising & Investor Relations Support

- Support major fundraising initiatives by preparing high-quality investor materials, including pitch decks, business cases, market overviews, and supporting models (e.g., three statement financial models, market models)
- Coordinate investor outreach activities, manage stakeholder communications, and track engagement
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, engineering or a related field
- Strong presentation & relationship-building skills, able to independently run client / customer meetings
- Strong financial acumen including financial modeling and familiarity with cap tables
- Substantial experience with PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong analytical skills, able to structure, conduct, and draw insights from data
- Experience with clean technology and/or hard technology (educational background in electrical / mechanical engineering is beneficial)
- Experience working in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or strategy / fundraising role at a high-growth start-up is beneficial
Our pay and benefits
- Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 annually, depending on education, experience and skills
