What you’ll do
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Finance Project Controller to join our growing finance team. This role is critical in supporting financial oversight and strategic decision-making across complex projects, including capital investments, manufacturing buildouts, and operational scaling. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial integrity, transparency, and alignment with company goals.

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for major projects, including capital expenditures and operational initiatives totaling more than $300M.
  • Monitor project budgets, actuals, and variances; provide timely insights and recommendations to project leads and senior leadership.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning and investment decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and external audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with procurement, operations, and engineering teams to track project milestones and financial impact.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly project performance reports for executive review.
  • Support ERP and financial system enhancements related to project tracking and reporting.
  • Identify risks and opportunities across projects and recommend mitigation strategies.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, project controlling, or corporate finance
  • Demonstrated experience in project cost forecasting and contingency analysis
  • Detailed knowledge of project management processes, earned value analysis, and project cost estimating
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; relevant experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP system 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights 
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders 
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment 

Our pay and benefits

  • Salary: $95,000 -140,000 annually, depending on education, experience and skills
