What you’ll do
Niron is hiring a Warehouse and Logistics Manager to play an important role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout the company’s supply chain. The individual hired will report to the Sr. Director of Procurement and Supply Chain. Warehouse & Outbound Logistics Manager
- Lead day-to-day warehouse and crib operations, including spares stocking and management, material control, and inventory accuracy across all storage locations.
- Own and execute end-to-end outbound logistics operations, including pick/pack/ship activities, shipping and receiving documentation, freight coordination, and carrier performance management.
- Establish, document, and enforce standard work, operating procedures, and material controls to ensure safe, repeatable, and efficient warehouse operations.
- Ensure accurate and disciplined use of WMS and ERP systems, driving transactional accuracy that supports inventory integrity and shipment reliability.
- Drive continuous improvement in inventory accuracy through physical controls, cycle counting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Identify and execute opportunities for outbound logistics cost savings, including freight optimization, carrier rationalization, and reduction of premium or expedited shipments.
- Lead, coach, and hold accountable warehouse personnel, quickly integrating into existing teams and setting clear expectations for performance and safety.
- Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and 5S / lean warehouse standards, addressing gaps through hands-on leadership and corrective action.
- Rapidly assess current-state operations, stabilize performance, and implement improvements in support of business and customer requirements.
- Establish and maintain an operating cadence with clear visibility to inventory accuracy, outbound performance, and cost drivers.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of progressive experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or materials management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in warehouse and crib operations, including spares stocking and management, material control, and inventory accuracy improvement.
- Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms (e.g., D365 or similar), with strong transactional discipline.
- Proven experience managing outbound logistics execution, including pick/pack/ship operations, shipping documentation, freight coordination, and carrier management
- Track record of delivering measurable operational results, such as improvements in inventory accuracy, outbound logistics cost savings, and shipment reliability.
- Strong working knowledge of safety, regulatory compliance, and 5S / lean warehouse principles, with hands-on implementation experience.
- Effective people leader with experience integrating into existing teams, setting expectations, and driving accountability on the warehouse floor.
- Highly execution-oriented with the ability to rapidly assess, stabilize, and improve operations, particularly in transitional or high-change environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a start-up or high-growth manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment or advanced materials categories.
- Exposure to cost analysis and supplier performance management.
Our Pay and Benefits
- Salary range: $95,000 - 135,000 based on experience, skills, and education
