We're looking for an Applications & Data Analyst intern to join our team!
**Current applications submitted will be under consideration for Summer 2026 (May - August)**
Work Schedule
- Hybrid from one of our office locations:
- Cedar Rapids, IA
- Lake Saint Louis, MO
- Mandan, ND
- Requirement: Minimum of working 3 days per week from an office location and ability to work up to all 5 days per week from an office location.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assigned a project-focused opportunity as a Data Analyst in a data integrity management role, working directly with NISC’s internal Enterprise Applications Team
- Validate data sets with internal and external audiences
- Monitor day-to-day operations of NISC’s database management system
- Collaborate with departments to create queries, imports, and exports of data for analytical reports
- Ensure daily integrity of database and procedures; identify and eliminate duplicate records
- Maintain corporate and individual relationship links between platforms
- Batch import data to maintain accuracy across large record sets
- Assist with general database maintenance (e.g., cleaning obsolete queries, maintaining records per style guides, updating information accurately)
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Analytical skills, problem solving, project management and critical thinking
- Utilize Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to clean and research data sets
- Must be willing to learn new computer programs and technology
- A quick learner who is flexible, and computer-savvy
- Hands-on experience managing and analyzing data
- Investigative skills for tracking records, queries, duplicates, and errors
- Exposure to Salesforce and ServiceNow platforms
Desired Education and/or Certification(s)
- High School Diploma of equivalency required
- Junior or Senior pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics or related field
