VP of Sales for PEP Health

Remote within the US (East Coast)

We are a fast paced, award winning, and rapidly growing Digital Health Tech company who are looking for their first energetic and detail-oriented Account Executive to help us ensure our product offering is the best fit for our clients and delivers a maximum value.

Why is it challenging & interesting?

At PEP Health, we’re on a mission to transform healthcare through a stronger and more-empowered patient voice. PEP Health listens to more than 400M patients across the US and the UK to generate actionable insights that improve care delivery and patient outcomes. We have the luxury of coming to work with a sense of mission and pride.

We’re already working with leading hospital groups and payers in the U.S., and are scaling rapidly. Now, we’re looking for a U.S.based Founding VP of Sales -  a strategic yet hands-on commercial leader who’s eager to grow with us, roll up their sleeves, and take ownership of our U.S. go-to-market efforts. You’ll be the first dedicated commercial hire, who will drive growth and shape our commercial strategy. While there’s no sales team in place today, you’ll play a part in building one - with plans to hire additional talent later this year.

In this role, you’ll collaborate directly with the CEO, Chief of Staff, and Chief Marketing Officer, giving you visibility and input across sales, marketing, and overall company strategy as we grow our U.S. presence. You will play a key role in building pipeline momentum across our core markets: health systems, institutional clients, payers, and consultancies, and collaborate with our UK-based technical team to ensure we improve quality, increase healthcare provider performance and a wider range of transformational benefits, including reducing health inequalities.

Main Responsibilities:

We are seeking a self-driven, people-oriented, and entrepreneurial person to lead new business development across hospitals, payers, and consultancies in the US. You’ll own the full sales cycle from pipeline generation, lead qualification, to demos, proposals, and closing - working closely with executive and technical teams.

You will build strong client relationships and develop a deep understanding of US healthcare dynamics to clearly demonstrate our platform’s ROI. Using key metrics like client satisfaction, revenue, and retention, you’ll inform and shape our US commercial strategy. You’ll support marketing by identifying success stories for case studies and campaigns, while regularly analyzing trends to spot new opportunities. Alongside this, you will develop high-trust relationships with our technical team to help get the most out of our technology. This is a high-impact role with real opportunity to shape our growth in the US market.

YOU’RE GOOD AT:

  • Taking ownership of commercial strategy and execution - balancing hands-on client work with big-picture thinking
  • Building strong, trust-based relationships with healthcare executives, prospective clients and decision-makers by listening deeply and uncovering needs to build tailored solutions
  • Leading complex sales cycles (6-12 months) from discovery to contract close, with a clear focus on long-term value
  • Translating between client needs and product capabilities to identify high-impact use cases, while serving as the ambassador for our technology to ensure adoption and long-term value
  • Strong strategic acumen and data-driven decision-making, paired with the ability to execute tactically in a hands-on role
  • Laying the foundation for scalable growth processes, and mentoring future sales hires to do the same.

YOU BRING:

  • Proven track record in B2B enterprise sales or commercial leadership, ideally in healthcare data, digital health or software as a sale (SaaS)

Demonstrated success closing high-value deals with hospitals, payers, or healthcare systems in the U.S

  • Experience in building and scaling this function in a start-up or scale-up environment, with the ability to roll up your sleeves and execute tactically
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence at all levels, including CEO and product teams
  • A network in hospitals and healthcare or public health industries
  • Above all: driven, curious, and entrepreneurial, with a bias for action and a desire to make a real impact

What we can offer you

In return for your expertise and commitment, we will provide a flexible, fast-paced, and stimulating international environment that will stretch your abilities and channel your talents. We offer competitive salary and benefits combined with the ability to do rewarding work with a real-world, social impact, and the opportunity to enter and help grow a promising venture from an early stage.
